Chichén Itzá
Over almost a thousand years, several peoples shaped this sacred city, one of the leading Maya centres on the Yucatán peninsula. Builders combined Maya methods with forms brought from central Mexico, as El Castillo, the Warriors’ Temple and the round observatory called El Caracol show.
